Bumble Bee Foods, LLC has issued a voluntary recall for its 3.75-ounce cans of smoked clams, which were sold at Walmart and a few other stores nationwide.
After the FDA identified PFAS in smoked clams, the recall was cautionary. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences

Most PFAS don't break down, thus they can accumulate in the body and be dangerous. The chemicals boost cholesterol, reproductive issues,
and liver, kidney, and pancreatic cancer risk, according to research. No harmful effects or diseases have been recorded from Bumble Bee smoked clams.
