Frontier Airlines, a subsidiary of Frontier Group Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ULCC), promoted James G. Dempsey to President and Mark C. Mitchell to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, reporting to CEO Barry Biffle.
Dempsey will manage Commercial, Customer Care (contact centers, customer relations), and Operations Research, Design, and Planning. Former Frontier Executive Vice President and CFO Dempsey.
Frontier's former VP, CAO, and VP, Finance and Investor Relations Mitchell will replace Dempsey.
“Jimmy and Mark have been essential members of Frontier's senior leadership team over the past eight plus decades and have played instrumental roles in the company's evolution and growth,” added Biffle.
Frontier CFO Dempsey joined in 2014. His previous responsibilities included senior management at Ryanair Holdings PLC and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Before joining Frontier in 2015, Mitchell was Vice President, Accounting, and Corporate Controller for Starwood Vacation Ownership, Inc. at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc.
Khanna arrived to Frontier from Lowe's Companies in Charlotte, NC, where he was Vice President, Technology - US Omnichannel Digital Customer Experience and Canada's de facto CIO. United Airlines IT executives included Khanna. CEO Barry Biffle supervises Khanna.
Saks comes from Airbus, where he was Vice President Airline Marketing and led sales, customer finance, and auditing. Saks answers to Mitchell, CFO.
Biffle added, “Each of these individuals bring a wealth for skills and experience to their roles and we are excited about having them on the Frontier leadership team as we embark on an exciting period of rapid growth for our organization.”
