Scott's Horse

This painting depicts a horse tied under a tree with the shadows falling through the leaves. We used to sit on the porch in Nevada, and relax after a hard days work. This is a picture of a friends horse tied in our yard, on a hot day, while he enjoyed a cool beverage with us. I loved the way the light fell through the elm tree where he was tied. It is framed with a beautiful brown wood frame and no matte to 21"x28". It has been shown at Red Bluff Western Art Show, Cattlemen's Western Art Show and Pastel Society of the West Coast, Pastels USA Show.
